Meetup - Speaker Agreement

Thank you for showing interest to speak at the Feature Store Meetup. Please take a moment to review the information in this agreement.

This agreement is between Hopsworks AB (“Organizer”) and the speaker (Speaker).

1. Presentation

a) Logistics

Speaker agrees to prepare, present and discuss information and/or materials for their proposed session without an honorarium or professional fee from Organizer. Session date/time is to be determined and will be established based on mutual agreement.

b) Content

The content shall be agreed with Organizer and should educate the overall conversation within the field, new tools, new aspects of the feature store and surrounding technologies within the AI fields. The Speaker understands that product pitches will not be accepted.

c) Presenters

Speaker understands that they cannot replace or add another presenter without obtaining written consent from Organizer.

2. Waiver

The undersigned agrees and acknowledges to Organizer the following regarding their presentation.

a) Presentation

Speaker agrees to present at the conference and to adhere to the content and intent of their talk as previously determined by Organizer.

b) Material Reproduction

Speaker grants Organizer the necessary permissions and rights to post their picture, bio, title, abstract, presentation files, and other submitted content on the event page, virtual event platform and in any marketing digital and printed materials distributed before, during and after the conference.

Speaker also grants Organizer the right to discuss content shared during the event on the featurestore.org blog, social media accounts, newsletter and other communications channels.

Please note: the Speaker’s presentation, of course, remains copyrighted by themselves and/or their employer.

c) Recording Waiver

Speaker grants Organizer the necessary permissions and rights to transcribe, reproduce, and distribute their session recording in complete or partial form, provided that the original intent and content is not substantially altered.

3. Code of conduct

The Speaker is aware and agrees to follow the community code of conduct to assure a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion.

4. Acceptance

To accept this agreement and speaking invitation, the Speaker must acknowledge this document as part of their session submission.
